Packaging Line Leader (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm)

KVK Tech is seeking an experienced Packaging Line Leader to join our team in Newtown, PA.

The Packaging Line Leader serves as a hands-on working lead responsible for coordinating daily packaging line operations in support of oral solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role ensures packaging activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements, SOPs, and safety standards while supporting efficient production, accurate documentation, and high product quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical packaging experience, the ability to guide and coordinate operators on the line, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Coordinate and direct the activities of Packaging Operators assigned to the line to maintain steady workflow and meet production schedules.
• Ensure packaging equipment is properly set up at the start of production runs and that line clearance, cleaning, and changeovers are completed in accordance with SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of batch records, logbooks, and cleaning documentation associated with the packaging line.
• Monitor in-process quality checks performed by operators to confirm adherence to packaging specifications and product integrity requirements.
• Perform hands-on packaging duties as needed, including equipment operation, changeovers, cleaning, and documentation activities.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and training to Packaging Operators while reinforcing compliance, safety practices, and operational efficiency.

We are looking for applicants with:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant packaging experience within a regulated pharmaceutical, food, or related manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP standards, Good Documentation Practices, and packaging documentation requirements.
• Experience coordinating or guiding operators within a production or packaging environment preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience operating and adjusting packaging equipment across multiple product formats.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to maintaining compliance and product quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
