Anthony Tabasso – President/CEO
Mr. Tabasso holds a B.A. from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Villanova University. Prior to joining KVK-Tech, Mr. Tabasso spent 16 years in private practice at a large Philadelphia law firm, where his practice focused on commercial litigation, business restructuring, and transactional work. After serving as outside counsel for many years, Mr. Tabasso joined KVK as President and CEO in August, 2013. Since that time, Mr. Tabasso’s focus has been on committing KVK to three core values: Regulatory Compliance, Safety, and Productivity. Mr. Tabasso has also dedicated KVK to strengthening its commitment to our customers and supply chain partners.
Lori Pinkleton – Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Lori Pinkleton has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with a portion of time spent in other areas of healthcare. Lori has worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical sales distribution, and directly within pharmacies and physician offices. Since March 2008, Lori has focused her talents on strengthening KVK-Tech’s customer and sales base as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Jonathan Hunsberger – Human Resources Manager
Mr. Hunsberger received his BA from Temple University in Human Resource Management and industrial and Organizational Psychology. Mr. Hunsberger worked in Human Resources for an international steel manufacturer and then moved into staffing working for the oldest national staffing company, Stivers Staffing Services for 23 years leading the Eastern Pennsylvania area offices. Mr. Hunsberger joined KVK Tech in January of 2018 as the Human Resources Manager. Mr. Hunsberger provides strategic business partnering to the senior leadership team as well as manage a group of HR professionals responsible for supporting the managers and their employees.
Sudha Damerla – Chief Administrative Officer
Ms. Damerla received her bachelor’s in biology and chemistry and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Ms. Damerla worked as Project Manager for .net projects (School management application for South Africa) before joining KVK Ms. Damerla started her career at KVK in 2011 and played various key roles in terms of implementing different Compliance software related to ERP, Chargeback, Document Management Systems, Regulatory Software, Quality Management Systems and LIMS. Ms. Damerla excellence was recognized by the company and promoted her as Head of Information Systems Quality and Compliance. She also Oversees Sourcing and Procurement. Ms. Damerla provides strategic business leadership to management to strengthen areas to enhance Quality and Compliance. Ms. Damerla has focused her commitment across all Gxp systems in the organization to strengthen Company’s key core values. Ms. Damerla excelled in Exceptional leadership skills, Strong interpersonal communication skills, developed organizational habits, Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, Strategic planning skills, Understanding of project management, knowledge of ethics, Thorough critical thinking skills, Successful problem-solving tactics. Ms. Damerla now took Chief Administrative Officer role to streamline the systems and procedures to enhance employee compliance, commitment, teamwork and efficiency. She facilitates all department heads to manage company run in full compliance with FDA guidelines / SOP’s effectively.
Dr. William Berger – Executive Director of Global Quality Control
Dr. William Berger joined KVK Tech. Inc. as Executive Director of Global Quality Control in 2023. Dr. Berger came to KVK Tech, Inc. from American Regent, Inc. formerly Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, a Daiichi Sankyo Company. While completing his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, he began his career in pharmaceuticals as a sterile operator, compounder, QC Chemist, and finally a Method Validation Scientist at Luitpold. He returned to graduate school in 2007. After completion of his Masters, he continued to take on more challenging roles in pharmaceutical management with increasing responsibility. Dr. Berger was Supervisor of Aseptic Processing Area and then transitioned as the Supervisor of the Quality Control Particulate Laboratory. Upon receiving his Ph.D. in Chemistry, he became Manager, QC Method Validation R&D and Technology Transfer, Senior Manager, Quality Control Chemistry and finally Associate Director, Quality Control Chemistry and Characterization.
Dr. Berger has over 22 years of pharmaceutical experience and has led large teams. He has successfully led FDA Inspections and is an excellent asset to KVK Tech, inc.
Lakshmi Nammalvar – Director of Operations
Lakshmi joined KVK-Tech in January 2011 as a Technical Services Manager, and later advanced to Director of Operations in 2015. Lakshmi has over 14 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry including Product Development, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Supply Chain. Prior to joining KVK-TECH, he has worked with Novel Laboratories and Par Pharmaceuticals. Lakshmi earned his Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.
Vinay Upadhyaya -Associate Director of Quality and Compliance
Mr. Vinay Upadhyaya received his Bachelors of Science and Chemistry from Bombay University. He worked as a Production Supervisor at Gan Pharmaceutical in Bombay then moved on to Mona Industries as a Quality Control Lab Technician. He joined Invamed in Patterson NJ in Quality Assurance before an 8 year tenure at Actavis where he working in Packaging and Quality Assurance. In 2006 Mr. Upadhyaya joined International Vitamin Corporation, formerly Delavau, where he served as Quality Assurance Manager and then Senior Manager of Quality, acting site head of quality for the Philadelphia location.
Mr. Upadhyaya has over 17 years of experience in developing, managing and remediating quality systems for globally regulated companies, managing FDA inspections, internal audits and his expertise will be of great value to KVK’s Quality Team and KVK’s continued success.
Rakesh Godhani –Director of Regulatory Affairs
Mr. Rakesh Godhani received his M.S. in Regulatory Science degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Saurashtra University, India. He worked as Associate Director for Apotex Inc., Canada, before joining KVK Tech. He held various roles at Apotex in India and Canada in Regulatory Affairs from junior to senior management. He has also worked in Quality Assurance at the beginning of his career at Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd., and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.
Mr. Godhani has over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience and has led small to large teams in Regulatory Affairs. He has successfully worked on numerous generic products to get pre- or post-market approvals from USFDA and Health Canada. His regulatory knowledge in international markets is an asset. His regulatory expertise and pharmaceutical industry knowledge greatly contribute to KVK Tech’s excellence.
