Accounting Associate

KVK Tech is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in Newtown, PA.

The Accounting Associate will support the day-to-day financial operations of a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking. This role requires accuracy, organization, and a solid understanding of accounting principles to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls and company policies. The ideal candidate will bring experience with ERP systems, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Weigh, dispense, and verify raw materials and intermediates per Master Batch Record (MBR) instructions, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor blenders, sifters, and related equipment used in the preparation of pharmaceutical blends.
  • Perform in-process sampling and basic quality checks (e.g., blend uniformity, loss on drying) following SOPs and cGMP requirements.
  • Accurately complete logbooks, batch documentation, and data entries in compliance with data integrity principles.
  • Clean, sanitize, and assemble manufacturing equipment and production areas according to established changeover and cleaning procedures.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, deviations, or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 2–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal control practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliation templates).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
